As a community partner of the MICARES project, Groundwork is committed to improving the cultural competency and knowledge of Tribal Nations in Michigan among its own staff. The Equity Education Series, is one such initiative. At this event, Dr. Schelly and Dr. Marie Schaefer (who was a postdoctoral researcher at Michigan State University) spoke about the Anishinaabe and how Anishinaabe learnings can be applied to energy systems decision making.
